Hello Russell Soccer Club Members
We are really excited to announce that the club was selected to receive a grant from Jumpstart @CTJumpstart. This grant has allowed us to buy equipment and supplies to help us deliver a safe and fun season without additional costs. Specifically the club has purchased masks for all of our coaches and portable goals to allow us to better maximize the space we have and keep the groups distanced.

Along
with Jumpstart, we understand the role sport plays in the health and well-being
of kids and their families and are doing everything possible to help community
sports continue

Last
year, with the support of CTC, Jumpstart Charities disbursed $8 million through
its Sport Relief Fund, fulfilling nearly 700 grant applications, to help organizations
continue to operate through 2020

With Canadian
Tire Corporation’s commitment of an additional $12 million to Jumpstart’s Sport
Relief Fund in 2021, together, we’ll help build back communities through sport
and play

As one
of over 500 sport and recreation organizations across Canada to receive grant
funding from the latest round of support from Jumpstart’s Sport Relief Fund this
year, the continued need for support is apparent

In 2021
alone, Jumpstart has disbursed over $9 million in grants to over 800 sport and
recreation organizations across Canada through Jumpstart’s Sport Relief Fund
